Ouabas family hostel

In the village of Agoudim, ideally located between Midelt and Imilchil, in the heart of the High Atlas National Park in Morocco, Auberge Ouabas welcomes you in a family atmosphere, alone or in groups, in its 3 dormitory rooms (up to 20 beds), its traditional Moroccan salon and Berber khaïma (tent installed in summer or for large groups).

In their kitchen, Aziza and Driss prepare the best dishes of the Berber and Moroccan cuisine:

Traditional tea to welcome you
Tajines and couscous, meat or vegetables
Traditional Moroccan soups and cakes
Breakfast: coffee, tea, Moroccan pancakes, homemade bread, olive oil…
Salads, fruits, etc.

Guide and trekking

Driss, a Berber born in Agoudim, knows well his region and mountains. Whatever the number of participants or the duration, he can guide you to the highest peaks in the region or to discover the secret gorges, the life of the Berbers, lakes, fossils, minerals, plants, traces of dinosaurs…

For a trek of one day, two days or three, for example:

Climb the highest peaks of the region: djebel Ayachi (3757 meters), djebel Masker (3240 meters) and other « 3000 meter mountains »
Visit the Tatrout Gorge (3 or 4 hours)
Hiking from Agoudim to Imilchil in 3 days, by different routes

For a great trekking, for example:

A 9-days loop, discovering traditional Berber villages
A trek from Imilchil to Midelt in 6 days, discovering the sumptuous landscapes of the Eastern High Atlas

→ Up to 4 people, I accompany you and guide you alone.

→ Large groups and agencies, I can advise, help you with the preparation and guide you throughout the trekking. I can also provide logistics: cooking, luggage transport, etc.
